North Sound Family Medicine is a member of Family Care Network made up of approximately 40 physicians practicing in clinics throughout Whatcom County. We are specialists in Family Medicine, certified as Fellows of the American Board of Family Practice. The practice began in 1979. Dr. Moren, the founding physician is still practicing at North Sound Family Medicine and has been joined over the years by Dr. Daniel E. Austin, Dr. Chao-ying Wu (currently on sabbatical), Dr. Jason Short, Dr. April Wakefield Pagels, Dr. Sue Dabney and Dr. Martin Watterson, and Susan Willis, ARNP. Our Family Practice services include: gynecology, care of newborns, pediatrics (children's care), and minor office surgical procedures such as suturing of lacerations, casting fractures, vasectomies and circumcisions. Dr. Wu, Dr. Watterson, Dr. Short and Dr. Pagels provide prenatal and obstetric care for expectant mothers. Our practice is currently accepting new patients.
