The 9th annual Vietnam Veterans Car Show returns to Barkley Village in 2019 with over 300 classic cars, trucks & motorcycles on display at the Barkley Village Green at 2215 Rimland Drive. Food and drink available for breakfast and lunch. This is a free event for the whole family that raises money for Whatcom County Veterans.

Whatcom Education Spay Neuter Impact Program

WeSNiP's mission is to make spay & neuter services accessible and affordable to the under served community.

WeSNiP focuses on financial assistance to low income pet owners and trapping and transporting of feral or free-roaming cats as well as pet cats and dogs. We work with you to find the local program that’s the best fit for you and your animals. For more information on WeSNiP follow the link below.

Concert On The Green

Join Barkley Village and Haggen Food & Pharmacy on August 17th for the second annual Barkley Village Concert On The Green featuring live music from Baby Cakes and Petty Or Not with all proceeds benefiting Lydia Place.

Bring your blankets or chairs to the park and enjoy a cold beer, wine, or cider from Twin Sisters Brewing Company and some delicious food from Jalapenos Family Mexican Restaurant, Chow Gourmet Hot Dogs and Sugar Shack Ice Cream Truck.

Tickets are only $20 and come with two free drink tickets for beer/wine/cider/soda. Bringing the little ones? Kids under 5 are free! Music Schedule:
The doors open at 4:00 with a live performance from Baby Cakes, a 10-piece powerhouse of highly experienced and talented musicians that takes their audiences on a joyride through the golden age of American Soul, funk, and R&B. Next up is the Tom Petty tribute band Petty Or Not taking the stage to cover all of your favorite Tom Petty classics and more! Join us to enjoy a talented group of amazing musicians providing a fun filled night of music, beer, food, and fun. We can't wait to see you there!

Entry to the 3rd annual Soktoberfest event is a pair of NEW socks, or purchase a pair at the door! We're partnering with Your City Sports to throw an Oktoberfest themed event to help collect and give socks to the homeless in our community. Your City Sports has donated nearly 102,000 socks already (woah! that's a lot of socks!) and we’re so pumped to share a beer or two with you for this awesome cause.

Learn some traditional Oktoberfest dance moves with lessons by the Bellingham Dance Company with live music and food throughout the day!

Costume Contest - We promise your bier will taste better in your dirndl and lederhosen get-ups. Plus, you could a pretty awesome prize for wearing them!

The 7th annual Food Truck Round Up is on Saturday, September 28th, 2019. This year's event will be held at the Barkley Village Green, 2215 Rimland Drive in Bellingham.

Due to the popularity of this event, we strongly recommend purchasing your entry tickets and Truck Bucks in advance to reduce time spent waiting in lines at the event.

The event features beer, live music, a Family Area and 25+ local food trucks! Proceeds benefit Whatcom County Food Banks.

Salish To Salish 10k

The Salish to Salish is a fundraiser for a local non-profit organization called Skookum Kids. This will be the second year of this event and we are so excited to see it flourish! This event is designed for runners and walkers of all levels. The Salish to Salish 10K is ideal for serious runners looking for a competitive or training race to those looking for a fun kid friendly Saturday morning activity! This event is designed for runners, walkers, wheelchairs and strollers. Each participant will receive a free T Shirt and Medal. 100% of the Proceeds from the Salish to Salish 10K solely benefits Skookum Kids!

*Registration Closes on October 10, 2019. Day of Registration will go up to $35.
*Early packet pick up will be from 10 am till 6 pm on October 11, 2019.
